Nuclear Family:
- Consists of a mother, father, and child/children.
Extended Family:
- May include grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts, uncles and other relatives in addition to parent(s) and child/children.
Single-Parent Family:
- Consists of a mother or father and a child/children.
Childless Family:
- A couple or group of people who have never had children.
