Lesson 4.5 - Revising and Finalizing
Learning Goals: By the end of this lesson students will be able to know how to edit their essay to eliminate repetitive words & replace them with more descriptive words & verbs. They will also put the story into a proper structure to show how the main characters build the plot & resolve conflicts.
Limit to 5 maximum.
Success Criteria: By the end of this lesson students will be able to revise their short story & analyze a short story in order to practice their reading & writing skills.

Each lesson must include at least the following (these go between glossary and Discussion forum)
- (10-15 minutes Lecture Segment follow by 20-30 minutes activity) x 3
- Lesson Assignment/Homework (FOR and/or AS)

We will be working together as a class to create another short story. However, THIS TIME we will be writing down our contributions one at a time and posting to the forum.
The Story Pass Game:
- Mr. B will begin a story by writing the words, "Once upon a time...". Mr. B will introduce the setting and some of the main characters.
- After Mr. B has posted his sentences to the forum, the next person will take over and continue the story.
- This is repeated until everyone has had a turn to tell a portion of the story.
- The last person will need to find a way to conclude the story. Once they have said a few sentences, they will pronounce, “THE END!”
- Mr. B - will introduce the main characters - Jody, his sister, & a flying horse Serena
- Mr. B will begin a story by writing the words, "Once upon a time...". Mr. B will introduce the setting and some of the main characters.
