      •  Jigsaw - Halloween History (Breakout Room Activity for Oct. 29th!) Forum

        Today we will be completing a Jigsaw activity. 

        Each of you will have to pick a Halloween themed topic from the list below. Your task is to research the history of this topic and share your knowledge with the rest of the class. 

        Topics:

        • The History of Pumpkins
        • The History of Vampires
        • The History of Witches
        • The History of Trick or Treating
        • The History of Zombies
        • The History of Werewolves

        Or, you may pick your own Halloween-themed topic to research. 


        Requirements:

        You are required to write 8 interesting facts about your topic. You may include a photo of your topic. Please be prepared to discuss your topic by the end of class today.

        Creating a Dialogue about 'My Favourite  Family Vacation'

        a) -First brainstorm your favourite family trip

        b) - Write down some ideas about the things you did & where you went

        c) Next, write a dialogue of 8-12 sentences

        d) Practice the dialogue with a friend

        e) We will revise it on Friday since this is your rough copy!

        This dialogue can be a short mini-presentation in class on Friday. Nov. 5th & Monday, Nov. 8th
