        For this activity I would like you to write:

        • 5 sentences related to your story using past tense
        • 5 sentences related to your story using present tense
        • 5 sentences related to your story using future tense

        You MUST also use at least one adjective in each sentence. 

      •  Assignment: Analyzing a Story (copy)

        For this assignment you are required to complete an analysis on a story of your choosing. 

        Here is the template you should be using for your analysis:


        You may look to your teacher's example for reference.


      •  Assignment: Short Story Writing Rough Draft - Part 2 (copy)
        Your short story assignment will be divided into sections. The first section of the assignment is creating a Rough Draft of your story. 

        A rough draft is a version of your story that is complete but not revised or edited. It is a good idea to begin the story writing process with a rough draft so you may organize your ideas. 

        PART ONE: Rough Draft
        You MUST refer to the template below as you begin to write & revise your rough draft. You MUST also write in paragraphs that are double-spaced & in your own words.  Length 500-1500 words= 2-4 pages double spaced.
