This unit focuses on reading and responding to non-fiction texts. Students will use reading and writing strategies to make sense of increasingly complex texts. The readings are about young people around the world who have overcome difficult situations.
This unit focuses on reading, listening and responding to non- fiction texts. Students will use reading and writing strategies to make sense of increasingly complex texts. They will review paragraph and summary writing as well as how to give a simple presentation.
