Unit 3 Writing
Unit Description:
In this unit, students will build their writing skills, and practise writing a variety of text types. They will write simple descriptive and informational texts and more complex persuasive essays. They will continue to build their vocabulary, and learn about creative ways to make their writing more interesting.
In this unit, students will build on their writing skills. They will continue to expand their vocabulary by using idioms and literary devices to write a variety of text types including descriptive, informational and persuasive. Students will be introduced to the MLA format used for citations, and will build their research skills.
