      This is an ongoing discussion forum. At the end of each lesson, you will be directed to this forum to discuss a topic related to the lesson. 

      The discussion forum will be graded for your OBSERVATION ASSESSMENT at the end of each unit.

      Overview 

      One important aspect of this course is your learning Journal. In this Journal, you reflect on the topics and activities covered in class. It is an opportunity to track your literacy growth and recognize when you have egun to meet your goals. Your teacher will let you know when to add something specific to your journal, but you are free to add your own personal reflections.

      Your teacher will review your wiki throughout the course and may use it as part of yur observation assessment, in conjunction with the discussion forum . 

      For your first journal entry, write a short reflective paragraph that indicates 

      • your goals for this class 
      • how better literacy will help you in the future 
      • what steps you plan to take to ensure success in his course 

      Your journal entry should be in paragraph format and at least 50 words. Don't forget to add the date and give your post a title.

      The learning journal will be reviewed and graded at the end of the course.It is worth 15% of your final grade.
