    •     construct clear, complete information para- graphs, some with graphic elements, for a
    variety of purposes, using correct paragraph structure

    •     demonstrate understanding of how the organizational structure of informational texts is
    related to the audience and the purpose for writing
    •     use appropriate strategies to make inferences about and interpret different types of
    texts,

      Let's read and discuss the topic of tattoos. Some grammatical errors must be fixed. Pay close attention to the sentences to fix the mistakes.

      Answer the following questions about the article ,"Creativity" 

      Reading Response and Writing

      1. What is this essay mainly about?

      2. Why do children imitate?

      3. How can schools overcome imitation?

      4. Should just some students’ creativity be nurtured? Or should all students’
      creativity be nurtured? Include a quotation from the essay that supports
      your opinion.

      5. Do you agree that schools should be doing a better job of encouraging
      students’ creativity? Explain your opinion.

      6. Choose a subject that you have studied in school, and write a
      proposal for a creative activity that could help make learning that
      subject easier for students. Add images and graphics to enhance
      your text.

    • Self Reflection Assignment

      Take some time to think about how your reading and writing skills have improved in the last few weeks. 


      In your portfolio, write a reflection, using any format you wish, to discuss the strategies that you have learned, and how they have helped improve your literacy.

       Identify and particular activity that you are proud of , or even one that you now understand how to do better.
