Terry Fox Run 2024
Did you know that every year, people in over 30 different countries participate in the Terry Fox School Run? Including thousands of schools across Canada? This year, our school is participating in the Terry Fox School Run so that we can all come together in our efforts to raise funds for cancer research, and keep up our strong school spirit! Across the nation, many schools are participating and trying like Terry, from the Maritimes of Newfoundland to the West Coast of B.C., and the Northern Territories of Nunavut. Let's Go, Toronto Central Academy!

We will meet at the school this Sunday to walk to the North York Gibson Park together to join the Terry Fox Run with the North York community!
If you live near the park, you may join us at the starting point!All the participants will receive a Certificate of Participation, please contact Addy/your counsellor to sign up for the run (or walk)!
When: Sunday, September 15th at 9:00 am
Where: Gibson Park * Park Home Ave between Yonge St. & Beecroft Rd.
We will meet at the school (200 Sheppard Ave. East) and walk to the park together! ❤️
Why: Because cancer research can't wait & Because Terry asked us to TRY!This is our running route (~5 KM), please wear comfortably and in layers!
All the participants will receive a Certificate of Participation, please join the run on Friday Sept 27th at TEA (or walk)! ❤️

Terry Fox Run is the largest fundraising organization for cancer research in Canada for over 40 years. Each year we run together and spread the spirit of Terry to fundraise for the great cause.
