In this lesson you will read several short stories which each deal with the types of personal crises and life changing decisions all people face in their lifetime including experiences with old age and death. These themes recur throughout the course, but the focus in this lesson will be on character development and how writers make their characters seem real to us when they face crises, conflicts and challenges.
