In this first lesson of the writing unit, you will review the structure of a simple three paragraph essay, and use this template to think about, brainstorm and outline all the writing assignments.

Write the first body paragraph for your Informative Essay on the general topic of world wide pandemics.
Your Topic sentence announces what the paragraph will reveal and explore in more detail.
Include at least two in-text citations from your research on the Internet in MLA citation format to support your first idea.
Share your FIRST BODY PARAGRAPH with your peer partner for their feedback.
Submission: PDF format. (file size can't be more than 20 MB)Work out the second and third body paragraphs of your essay on the general topic of world wide pandemics.
Write the topic sentence and include at least one citation in each of the body paragraphs, but you are NOT required to write out each paragraph in full.
Share your two paragraphs with your peer partner for their feedback.
Submission: PDF format. (file size can't be more than 20 MB)Write your concluding paragraph in full. No citations should appear.
Summarize your three points, link them all again to your thesis and restate your thesis using different words.
Conclude with a SO WHAT sentence or two. What BIG PICTURE COMMENT can you write about pandemics (examples: an opinion, something you can offer to the reader that they should think about etc.).
