WE CAN DESCRIBE LINES WITH PARAMETRIC EQUATIONS (2D/3D), VECTOR EQUATIONS (2D/3D) AND SCALAR EQUATIONS (2D ONLY). 2) WE CAN DESCRIBE PLANES IN 3D WITH PARAMETRIC EQUATIONS, VECTOR EQUATIONS AND SCALAR EQUATIONS. 3) WE CAN CONVERT BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF EQUATIONS FOR A LINE OR PLANE. 4) IN 3 SPACE, A PLANE HAS A NORMAL VECTOR WHICH IS PERPENDICULAR TO IT, AND WHOSE COMPONENTS ARE THE COEFFICIENTS OF THE PLANE'S SCALAR EQUATION.
