Learning goals:
By the end of the lesson, students would be able to
1) Develop public speaking (presentation) skills
2) Have a deeper understanding of various differences between Chinese and English
3) Have developed searching skills through doing research independently
4) Have developed skills to create presentable slides
5) Interpretation & translation skills

- 1. Review the speech transcript_新春联欢 Celebrating the Spring Festival (Check in next class) 复习课堂role play的演讲，明天会检查。
2. Upload your Individual presentation slide (PowerPoint or pdf files) to the drop box in Lesson 1.6 今晚午夜之前将presentation的slide上传到Lesson 1.6的drop box里。
3. Start to work on your Essay 开始准备Essay:Topic: What are the most impressive differences (1-3) between Chinese and English in your opinion?(2 pages, 12 point font, double line space, word/pdf document. Due by May 24)
