By the end of today's class, students will be able to:
- 1) Know basic similarities and differences between Chinese and English narrative frameworks
- 2) Analyze samples of Chinese and English novels and stories (excerpts)
- 3) Learn how to translate basic literary descriptions between the two languages
- 4) Enlarge relevant vocabulary
- 5) Improve translation skills
- 6) Enhance teamwork and public speaking skills through discussion and games
