Learning Goals: By the end of this lesson you will be able to
- Define key terms: fragmentation, mitosis, interphase, chromatin, sister chromatid, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase, cytokinesis, cloning, biotechnology, genetically modified organism.
- Understand what constitutes genetic material
- Know the 2 different types of reproduction: Asexual and Sexual
- Be able to give examples of the different types of asexual reproduction
- Know and be able to distinguish the different phases of Mitosis
- Understand the different ways organisms are cloned.
- Examples of different applications for cloning.
Review on Virus and Diagnostic activity on organelles and cell division.
