• Lesson 4.5 - Introduction of Acids and Bases & Calculating pH of Acids

    Learning Goals:

    1. I will be able to contrast strong and weak acids and strong and weak bases using the concept of dynamic equilibrium, and compare the strengths of acids and bases based on their ionization constants.
    2. I will be able to calculate the pH of solutions of acids.

    Specific Expectations:

    NELSON Text Reference: Sections 8.1, 8.2 & 8.4
