- I will be able to describe and recognize open, closed, and isolated systems.
- I will be able to differentiate between exothermic and endothermic reactions.
- I will be able to contrast physical changes, chemical reactions, and nuclear reactions, and the resulting energy changes.
- I will be able to differentiate among temperature, thermal energy and heat.
- I will be able to solve problems involving the transfer of thermal energy (heat).

- Study the Heat Calculation Example. Be sure to provide your solution following it to get full marks.
