    Learning Goals:

    1. I will be able to describe and recognize open, closed, and isolated systems.
    2. I will be able to differentiate between exothermic and endothermic reactions.
    3. I will be able to contrast physical changes, chemical reactions, and nuclear reactions, and the resulting energy changes.
    4. I will be able to differentiate among temperature, thermal energy and heat.
    5. I will be able to solve problems involving the transfer of thermal energy (heat).
