Lesson 3.4 - Chemical Kinetics
Learning Goals:
- I will be able to describe the general concepts of the collision theory for chemical reactions.
- I will be able to draw and interpret potential-energy diagrams for chemical reactions.
- I will be able to describe how various factors (nature of reactants, temperature, concentration, surface area, catalysts) affect the rate of a chemical reaction, and apply the collision theory to explain these effects.
- I will be able to understand reaction mechanisms.
