Role Play: One person is Fred. The other person is the friend giving advice.

        Situation:

Fred is a grade 12 student hoping to get into a good university. However, his grades have not been good recently, and he doesn’t feel very motivated to keep trying.

He spends a lot of time playing games and scrolling through social media. As a result, he often sleeps late and eats fast food late at night. When he thinks about studying, he imagines hours of hard mental work, which makes him want to play more games.

You remember Fred used to be so motivated a year ago when he had a studious girlfriend to help him study. But you also know he can’t rely on a girlfriend to motivate him because now he doesn’t have one anymore. As Fred’s friend, you need to give him some quality advice and help him increase his motivation before it’s too late!
