      Learning Goals: By the end of this lesson you will be able to

      1. Explain the impact of business ethics and ethical dilemmas.

        Ethics sets standards of good or bad, or right or wrong, in one’s conduct.

        Ethical behavior is “right” or “good” in the context of a society’s accepted moral code.

        Values are underlying beliefs and attitudes that determine individual behavior.

         Ethical dilemma is a situation that offers potential benefit or gain and is also unethical

        Codes of ethics: Formal statement of an organization’s values and ethical principles regarding how to behave in situations susceptible to the creation of ethical dilemmas.

        A whistleblower exposes the misdeeds of others in organizations.
