MAKE YOUR OWN KIND OF MUSIC (The Mamas and Papas)
Nobody can tell ya (you)
There's only one song worth singing
They may try and sell ya
'Cause it hangs them up
To see someone like you/.But you gotta make your own kind of music
Sing your own special song
Make your own kind of music
Even if nobody else sings along. You're gonna be nowhere
The loneliest kind of lonely
It may be rough going
Just to do your thing's the hardest thing to do.But you gotta make your own kind of music
Sing your own special song
Make your own kind of music
Even if nobody else sings along. So if you cannot take my hand
And if you must be going, I will understandYou gotta make your own kind of music
You gotta make your own kind of music
Sing your own special song
Make your own kind of music
Even if nobody else sings along
Sing your own kind of song
Make your own kind of music
Even if nobody else sings along

Let's review the following resource about the art of paraphrasing
In 200-250 words, write a personal reflection about a time in your life when you feel you did not follow the crowd, or act like a sheep, or made your own kind of music, but NOT IN A LITERAL WAY of course.
Please double-space your response.
We all believe that the important choices we make in our lives will eventually make a big difference in our futures.
When the narrator in Robert Frost's poem THE ROAD NOT TAKEN has to decide which path to follow that will take him/her through the wood, he/she spends some time thinking about which path would be: the best, wisest, the fastest etc.
Which path would you choose and why? Use the same reasoning the poem's narrator does to explain your chosen path. DO NOT QUOTE THE POEM BUT PARAPHRASE INSTEAD. EXPRESS YOUR CHOICE IN YOUR OWN WORDS.
The poem can be downloaded here.
