For this assignment, you will plan, write and record a 90-second persuasive speech . 

Choose one of the topics below and use the attached graphic organizer to plan how you will convince your audience ( me) to believe or do what you say. 

You should have at least 2 points and one example or evidence that proves each point. Use any two speech-making techniques in your speech

• All schools should teach sign language 
  
• Children under 15 should not be allowed to have social media accounts 
  
• Smoking should be made illegal
  
• University education should be free for everyone
  
• Fast food ( burgers, fried chicken, pizza) should be twice as expensive as healthy food
  
• Men and women should be paid the same amount of money if they do the same job
  

Tips

• Be sure to write out your entire speech, so that you don't have to think of what to say when you are recording.
  
• Use words that are easy to say.        
  
• Speak slowly, loudly, and clearly.
