Speaking Assessment

This is a graded assignment. Watch the short film " First Born ". 

Record a 2 minute video presentation talking about the story and what it means. 


In your video you should say :                                         

  • The name of the film
  • Who the main characters are
  • Where  and when the story happens
  • What the conflict is
  • At least 5 things that happen in the story (use words like first, then, after that, later and finally. )
  • Say how the conflict is resolved
  • What did you learn from this film? What do you think the people who created it wanted you to think about family?
  • Do you like the story? Why or why not?

Be sure to use your dictionary to find the best words to describe the story.
