Pencil vs Camera Project

Due: Monday, 8 April 2024, 11:59 PM

1.Research Ben Hein’s work online. Then choose three photos that you took based on architecture, portraits and animals.

2: Draw THREE (3) different conceptual sketches of your subject matter for your own Pencil Vs Camera mixed media project decide how you will break up your chosen image. (on architecture, portraits and animals) CONSIDER: Line, Form, Unity and Balance; Foreground/ background unity relationship between line and shape. Have your sketches approved by the teacher before starting your large drawing/photo source.

*Meaning you have to sketch out three preliminary sketches based on architecture, portraits and animals(photos that you take). Make sure each drawing is NOT just a copy and paste, should add your own ideas and reflect your OWN creativity. Then choose ONE drawing that's approved by the teacher and then you can do that one in a more bigger size that includes details, size and tonal values(shadings).

STEP THREE: Write your Artistic Statement Template to document your artistic process. (Page 2 on the pdf file)

Examples:

Portraits

Architecture

Animals

Or you can switch one of them to transportation
