Success Criteria: I am successful whenI can concisely and confidently communicate my knowledge and understanding of the main themes and a main character in Macbeth with this successful oral communication assignment.
Assignment Description:
Create an ORAL Presentation for the teacher of approximately five minutes duration which will include reading a soliloquy either by Macbeth or Lady Macbeth from either Act 1, 2 or 3. You may choose any soliloquy you wish.
You will read the soliloquy aloud with expression and fluency to your teacher in a 1:1 session which you will book in advance before you come to the end of the Drama Unit.
Your reading (maximum 60 -90 seconds) will be followed by an analysis of the soliloquy for motivation, theme, characterization, figurative language and literary devices, plus any other points you feel demonstrate your understanding and knowledge about the character at this moment in the play.You may have one small card with notes for reference only.
