Final Assessment - Group Presentation: PowerPoint with video recording
The student body will break into groups so as to:
1. To help foster team building and positive group dynamics
2. Prove that student(s) can articulate and present their topic of choice. See Topics selection below:
In this section, each student will present his/her topic, with examples to demonstrate his/her expertise in the topic.
Once each student has done their individual presentation, the instructor will randomly ask questions, to test if the student has the ability to apply their learnings to random situations, in the moment.
If the student can answer the random probing all by themselves, they receive full marks. If they require help from group members, they receive only half the marks for the question asked. If a team can not answer the question(s), the team and student receive zero marks for question(s) answered incorrectly.
The evaluation for this section is as follows:
50% for team effort and 50% for individual effort.
Example for marking scheme.
If a student is asked 5 questions, but only answers 4 out of the questions,
then the student receives 80% for the individual portion.
For the incorrect answer, if the team helps to cover individual team member shortcomings, the team receives the full marks for team contribution: 5/5 for 100%.
For that individual, the mark will be:
50% of 80, and 50% of 100, which is: 180/200, which is 90%.
This 90% will be 9 out of 10 marks for his individual mark towards his overall mark.
Orphaned Students:
Some students have not placed themselves into groups. They are still mandated to present a topic of expertise. However, another team can help orphaned students to answer questions the instructor will ask an orphaned In Momento. A voluntary supporting team may try to support an orphaned student. They will not be penalized if they can not answer the instructor's random In Memento questions. However, if they do manage to support an orphaned student, the correct answers will count towards their respective team's correct answer total.
AI Implementation: During the questions/answer portion of the presentation, the team and/or individual may utilize an AI engine to help with answering the question.

Part 1: Linear relation
- Graphing
- Solving linear systems by graphing, substitution, elimination
- Solving word problems
Part 2: Analytical geometry
- Median, altitude, orthocenter, circumcenter, perpendicular bisector
- Midpoint, length, equation of a circle, and analyze and understand properties of multi-side polygons such as triangles and quadrilaterals
Part 3: Factor
- GCF and LCM
- Factor simple and complex trinomials
- Perfect square and difference of squares.
Part 4: Quadratics
- Graphing standard form, vertex form, factored form
- Completing square
- Solving equations by factoring, by taking square roots, by quadratic formula
- Word problems: such as studying where parabolas are used in architecture.
Part 5: Trigonometry
- Similar triangle
- Sine, cosine, tangent in right triangles
- Sine law and Cosine law
