Grammar- The Second Conditional

Conditional statements are known as IF statements.  They always include a clause that begins with "If". For example "If you heat water to 100 degrees, it boils".

There are 4 types of conditional statements: Zero, First, Second and Third. Each indicates the consequence of a different type of reality ( what always happens- what is never going to happen)

Today we will focus on the second conditional, which imagines what would happen if an unlikely but still possible event were to take place.  Read through the notes on page 1 before you complete the practice questions on pages 2 & 3.
