You will then complete the following:
- a summary of the story - in your own words
- complete a Freytag pyramid OR a plot diagram
- try to find information on the author - a video or a short blurb of text
- an analysis of the story - remember that quotes require in-text citations
- point out, and explain, significant moments in the story, tone, setting(s), etc.
- explain the character development - in other words, how do the characters progress from the beginning of the story to the end of the story? Think about character characterization from the PowerPoint.
- explain the meaning of the story; use quotes and connections for this
- create three questions that you would ask students to answer about the story - no, you do not have to answer these; you just need to create the questions
This can be completed using either PowerPoint or Canva.
You will present this Thursday. You will have 15-20 minutes to present.
Your final product is due Thursday, November 14th by 9:00 a.m.
