Assessment of Learning - Creating a Media Product

Instructions: For this final media project, you will create a  60-second documentary that highlights a social issue that affects young people today or introduces the audience to a person, event or activity that is inspirational or impactful to the wider society. 


You are expected to record a video or use a series of original photographs to tell your story. Your video must include on-screen text as well as narration. 


As the name suggests, your video will be 60 seconds +/- 5 seconds.


  • Use the planning sheet to think through your ideas for your doc.
  • Create a Storyboard as part of your plan.
  • You must use at least 3 different camera angles and film techniques in your final product.  Upload your planning notes.
