Re: Select YouTube Videos Explaining Design Thinking and Lean Startup
Design thinking is a human-centered approach to problem-solving that prioritizes empathy, creativity, and iteration to generate innovative solutions. At its core, it emphasizes understanding the needs and desires of the end-users to create products, services, or systems that truly resonate with them. Unlike traditional problem-solving methods that often focus solely on the end result, design thinking places equal importance on the process itself, recognizing that the journey to a solution is just as valuable as the solution itself. One of the fundamental principles of design thinking is empathy. Design thinkers immerse themselves in the world of the people they are designing for, seeking to understand their perspectives, needs, and challenges on a deep level. By empathizing with users, designers are better equipped to uncover insights and identify opportunities for innovation. This empathy-driven approach fosters a deeper connection between the designer and the user, leading to solutions that are more meaningful and impactful.Another key aspect of design thinking is ideation. Design thinkers embrace ambiguity and encourage brainstorming and experimentation to generate a wide range of ideas. This divergent thinking allows for the exploration of unconventional solutions and often leads to breakthrough innovations. Through techniques such as brainstorming, mind mapping, and rapid prototyping, designers are able to explore different possibilities and refine their ideas based on feedback and iteration.Ultimately, design thinking is a mindset—a way of approaching problems with creativity, empathy, and a willingness to iterate. By placing the needs of users at the center of the design process and embracing experimentation and iteration, design thinkers are able to develop innovative solutions that truly make a difference in the world. Whether applied to product design, service design, or social innovation, design thinking offers a powerful framework for tackling complex challenges and driving positive change.

Re: Select YouTube Videos Explaining Design Thinking and Lean Startup
Both videos I post are for design thinking and lean startup way.
First video shows Design Thinking, which is a problem-solving and innovation methodology that focuses on user-centered design and humane solutions. It emphasizes creating valuable products and services through in-depth understanding of user needs and experiences, and close interaction with users. Design thinking usually includes a series of steps, such as problem definition, user insights, idea generation, prototyping, and testing, to help teams understand problems, discover innovative solutions, and continuously improve products or services. This approach focuses on interdisciplinary collaboration, flexibility, and iteration in pursuit of more effective solutions. We can gain the wording I describe above easily from the short video only lasting for 2 minutes.
The second vivid video shows Lean Startup, which is an entrepreneurial methodology designed to help entrepreneurs develop and promote products or services quickly and effectively, and find product/market fit in the market. The Lean Startup emphasizes building and testing hypotheses quickly to reduce waste, and getting customer feedback at an early stage so that you can adjust and improve your product in a timely manner. This approach emphasizes that entrepreneurs should take an experimental approach to learn quickly and gradually iterate on a product or service. Core principles include building a minimum viable product (MVP), continuous customer feedback loops, rapid iteration, and continuous learning.

this video explained about design thinking, and detailed the topic in a comprehend way
Re: Select YouTube Videos Explaining Design Thinking and Lean Startup
Lean Startup :
The reasons why I choose these two videos are as follow,
1. This video demonstrates design thinking as a smart strategy development technique and is divided into three main sections. The first part is immersing yourself in the lives of your customers to understand their needs. The second part is testing, conducting experiments to anticipate consumer reactions and adjusting products. The last part is stepping into reality. This video gives an example of Procter & Gamble applying design thinking to develop new markets to illustrate the significance of design thinking for strategy development.
2. The second video focuses on the role of Lean Startup in helping startups allocate resources more efficiently and reduce the risk of failure. I think this video is better because he does it in a more interesting format: writing notes while he explains. This makes it easier to grab the viewer's attention. And we can deepen our understanding by taking notes after his video.
Re: Select YouTube Videos Explaining Design Thinking and Lean Startup
1. ,This video uses simple examples of life to explain what design thinking is. Prototype, test, ideate are also mentioned. These steps can better solve the problem. The real core of design thinking is to find out the problem and try to solve it through observation, using fixed data and other methods.
2. ,This video mentions the most important points of design thinking, empathy and empathy. Be good at discovering what people are doing, not just what they say, try to explore and understand their real needs and launch products.Re: Select YouTube Videos Explaining Design Thinking and Lean Startup
I like this video which talks about design thinking the best because it also tells us the process of design thinking. Also, design thinking works through 5 steps to come up with ideas that make sense to solve real problems for specific groups of people. This video also tells us that the importance of design thinking and its 5 steps. This approach is taught in top design schools and business schools around the world. The five steps are empathy, defining the problem, coming up with ideas, prototype, and testing. The purpose of empathy is to conduct interviews that will show you what people really care about (needs). The reason why to define the problem is that there are verbs or activities that you can underline and highlight when people mention them when talking about their problems. Coming up with ideas is not for getting a perfect idea, but to come up with many solutions first. The purpose of the prototype is that we can stretch out our final solution, and we can use the prototype to test our solutions. Last, testing is for testing our prototypes.
Lean Startup
I like this video which talks about lean startup the best. The video explains what is lean startup to us very clearly so that we can understand it easily. Also, this video uses interesting images and animations to make it understandable. We can remember the important concepts through the interesting and short movie. Last, the lean startup method is about bringing a business idea, a product, or a service to the market as quickly as possible. In doing so, long planning and development phases can be skipped. This video, not only tells us what is lean startup is but also tells us that MVP is short for a minimum viable product, building measure cycle, and the advantages of lean startup. It’s a very useful video to explain lean startup for everyone.

Re: Select YouTube Videos Explaining Design Thinking and Lean Startup
Reason:This video gives me a good understanding of Design Thinking. For example, I know that designing things focuses on in-depth understanding of user needs and experience, so as to help design products or services that better meet user expectations. Through constant observation, thinking and experimentation, designing things inspires innovative thinking and helps teams find new solutions. Design things encourage interdisciplinary cooperation and exchange, and promote the participation of people from different backgrounds and professions, resulting in more diversified thinking and creativity. Design things adopt a fast iterative approach, which can test and verify different ideas and schemes in a relatively short time, helping the team to learn and progress quickly. Design things are suitable for solving a variety of complex problems, whether it is product design, service improvement or organizational change, can play its advantages.
Learn Startup:
Reason:Through this video, I learned a lot of useful knowledge, such as that combining the Lean Startup approach with artificial intelligence (AI) can bring multiple benefits. First, AI can help companies validate business hypotheses and iterate more quickly, and by quickly collecting and analyzing large amounts of data, companies can understand market needs faster and improve product market adaptability. Secondly, AI can provide more accurate user insights, by analyzing user behavior and preferences, enterprises can better understand user needs, and design products and services that are more in line with user needs. In addition, AI can help companies use resources more efficiently, for example by automating processes and improving production efficiency, thereby reducing costs. Most importantly, AI can provide more comprehensive and accurate data analysis, provide better support for business decisions, reduce entrepreneurial risk, and improve the chances of success. Through continuous learning and improvement, AI can help enterprises optimize products and services, improve competitiveness and sustainable development capabilities. To sum up, combining the Lean Startup method with artificial intelligence can help enterprises develop and innovate more quickly and efficiently, and improve their competitiveness and market adaptability.
