The five steps are empathy, defining the problem, coming up with ideas, prototype, and testing. The purpose of empathy is to conduct interviews that will show you what people really care about (needs). The reason why to define the problem is that there are verbs or activities that you can underline and highlight when people mention them when talking about their problems. Coming up with ideas is not for getting a perfect idea, but to come up with many solutions first. The purpose of the prototype is that we can stretch out our final solution, and we can use the prototype to test our solutions. Last, testing is for testing our prototypes.
