Members of Provincial Parliament, sometimes referred to as Members of the Provincial Legislature, are elected officials who serve in the Legislative Assembly. Provincial Parliamentarians are chosen from all of Ontario's ridings.


- Ontario's Speaker of the House: presides over discussions and upholds discipline in the Legislative Assembly.

Cabinet Ministers are elected politicians in charge of particular ministries within the government.

Opposition politicians who closely monitor and suggest alternatives to government ministers are known as the Shadow Cabinet.
