Of course, I like it in book format. First of all, it usually includes much more details than movies. Secondly, from my own experience, I like a story in a book more than movie because I just do not have the same exciting feelings as reading the story in book when watching it as a movie. Thirdly, you would image your scene when reading the story and it is better than watching it in movie directors' imagination.
