The film happens in a flat which is located in London. Since it is happening in the flat so that it builds a tense atmosphere and is a locked space. Which means each details in the room would play an important role for solving it. The characters are all close neighbours, and the crime occurs in their familiar space emphasizes the safety, making everyone be a potential killer. In the film, at first the POV comes from the younger friend but when the main character Poirot appears, it changes. Audiences can feel as if they are solving the mystery with him to reveal the mystery.
