Don't chew or swallow. Let them melt in your mouth. Next time, take a cigarette from the box. Gradually cut down on cigarettes.
Walk outside and only smoke then. Walking helps you breathe more oxygen and feel calm. Your body uses less adrenaline when you walk than when you stand and smoke. Walking and smoking are hard to do together, so you'll be less tempted to smoke.
