He sees the huge potential of AI in areas such as healthcare and education, but also warns of the significant risks it may bring. Hinton is worried that AI may surpass human intelligence, leading to uncontrollable consequences. He emphasizes the need for responsible development, strict supervision, and clear ethical guidelines to ensure that AI can benefit humanity rather than become a threat. I agree with Hinton's cautious attitude, because history has shown that the rapid development of technology, if unmanaged, often leads to unexpected problems. For example, although automation technology has improved efficiency, it has also replaced a large number of jobs.

I agree with your perspective and Hinton’s cautious approach. While AI has great potential in areas like healthcare, its risks, like job displacement, are real. History shows rapid tech advancements often bring challenges, as seen with automation. Focusing on solutions like upskilling and ethical guidelines can help us balance AI's benefits with its risks, ensuring it serves humanity responsibly.

Geoffrey Hinton, a prominent figure in AI, envisions AI transforming healthcare and education but also cautions against risks like job displacement and the potential for AI to become unmanageably intelligent. He advocates for stringent regulations and ethical standards to ensure AI's safety. I agree that we must carefully manage AI's development; like automation, it has the power to both benefit and harm if not properly regulated. While his worry about AI surpassing human control might seem extreme at present, it's a caution we should heed. Hinton's perspective underscores the need to harmonize AI's vast potential with robust oversight to prevent negative outcomes.

Geoffrey Hinton, known as the "Godfather of AI," believes AI has the power to change the world but also comes with big risks. He’s worried about problems like job loss, misinformation, and even the possibility of losing control over super-smart AI. He thinks we need global rules to make sure AI is used safely and ethically.

I agree with his concerns about the risks and the need for rules, especially as AI keeps advancing so fast. But I think his fear of losing control might be a little extreme right now since today’s AI still depends on humans to work.

Overall, Hinton’s views remind us that while AI can do amazing things, we need to balance innovation with strong rules to make sure it helps, not harms, society.

I agree with your perspective and Hinton's cautious approach. While AI holds immense potential, especially in fields like healthcare, its risks, such as job displacement, are undeniable. History demonstrates that rapid technological advancements often come with significant challenges, as evidenced by the impact of automation. Emphasizing solutions like workforce upskilling and establishing robust ethical guidelines can help us strike a balance between harnessing AI's benefits and addressing its risks, ensuring it serves humanity responsibly.

I totally agree with your opinion, the biggest problem of AI currently is lack of ethical concerns, so this will maximum increase the risk of disaster bring by AI

Geoffrey Hinton, often referred to as one of the “godfathers” of artificial intelligence, believes there is a 10% to 20% chance that AI could drive humanity to extinction within 30 years. Speaking on BBC Radio 4, the British-Canadian computer scientist stated, “we’ve never had to deal with things more intelligent than ourselves before. And how many examples do you know of a more intelligent thing being controlled by a less intelligent thing?” Hinton’s assessment highlights the urgent need for action and raises profound questions about how we develop and govern AI.

AI pioneer Geoffrey Hinton expressed both optimism and concern about the future of AI. He envisions AI transforming fields such as healthcare and education, but also warned that AI carries risks, including autonomous weapons, job loss, and uncontrollable systems. Hinton advocates for careful regulation and ethical considerations to guide the development of AI.

I agree with Hinton's balanced view. AI has great potential to improve efficiency and innovation, but uncontrolled growth could be socially and ethically harmful. Effective governance, transparency, and collaboration between policymakers, technologists, and ethicists are essential to harnessing the benefits of AI and mitigating its risks, ensuring that AI serves humanity responsibly.

Geoffrey Hinton views the future of AI with both optimism and caution. He believes AI has the potential to revolutionize fields like healthcare and education, making processes more efficient and accessible. However, he warns about the risks, such as job displacement, misuse of AI in warfare, and ethical concerns like bias in AI systems. I agree with his cautious approach because while AI offers incredible opportunities, without proper regulation and ethical frameworks, it could lead to unintended consequences that harm society. Balancing innovation with responsibility is essential for AI’s future.

Geoffrey Hinton, a key AI figure, sees AI as a game-changer for healthcare and education but warns of dangers like job loss and super-smart AI getting out of control. He pushes for strict rules and ethics to keep AI safe. I agree we need to manage AI's growth wisely because, like automation, it can both help and hurt if not handled right. His concern about AI becoming too smart to control might be a bit far-fetched now, but we should still be careful. His views remind us to balance AI's amazing potential with strong oversight to avoid harm.

Good Response. The ability of AI to be used in warfare can and may lead to a major problem with AI since humans can have AI robots to fight in place of humans and this may lead into a continuous warfare. Humanity, leaders of the powerful countries need to get together to discuss how to make sure that peace is the main objective for humanity to survive.
