Prometheus is seen as a hero because he stood up for humans against Zeus. He stole fire from the gods and gave it to people, which helped them cook, make tools, and start building civilization. Even though he was punished and had to suffer forever, he never regretted what he did. That’s why people see him as brave, selfless, and a symbol of knowledge and progress.
