1.Persephone is the daughter of Demeter, the goddess of the harvest. She gets taken by Hades to the underworld to be his wife.
2.As Demeter grieves, the Earth stops growing crops and everything becomes barren. That’s why we have winter.
3.Zeus decides Persephone will spend part of the year with Hades in the underworld and the rest with her mother on Earth. That explains the changing seasons.
4.Sometimes my parents ask me to do some simple chores at home, but sometimes I don’t want to do them.
