After reading the story of Prometheus, I think he is a true hero.
First, he was brave and kind. Prometheus took fire from the gods and gave it to humans. At that time, humans lived in darkness and cold. They had no fire to cook food or keep warm. He knew Zeus, the king of the gods, would be very angry if he stole fire. But he still did it to help humans live better.
Second, he was brave when suffering. Zeus punished Prometheus badly. He chained Prometheus to a rock. Every day, an eagle came to eat his liver. The liver grew back at night, so the pain was there every day. But Prometheus never gave up. He never said sorry for helping humans. He kept his choice until someone saved him later.
For these reasons, Prometheus is a hero. He risked his own happiness and safety to help others. That's what a hero should do.
