1. Which part of the TPCASTT test was easiest for you? Why?
The easiest part for me was the Implied Meaning section because I could identify some of the rhetorical devices and deeper meanings in the poem.
2. Which part of the TPCASTT test was hardest for you? Why?
The hardest part was the Reinterpretation section because it was sometimes difficult to rewrite the lines of poetry using simpler words while still retaining the meaning.
3. How confident do you feel about your answer? Explain.
I was quite apprehensive about my answer because I had read the poem many times but still couldn't understand its meaning.
4. What strategy did you use to understand the poem?
I used the method of rereading and relying on context. I read the poem more than once and considered the words surrounding unfamiliar terms to guess their meaning.
5. If you could redo a part of the test, what would you improve?
If I could redo a part, I would improve the paraphrasing section because I feel I didn't score any points for that part.
