Icebreaker: Moody Mystery

For today's icebreaker, we will be looking how mood or emotion can be used as symbolism. 

Symbolism is often used in music, art, and writing to represent a deeper idea or meaning. When we use symbolism, we typically use an object or thing to represent something of a deeper meaning. For example, a storm might represent anger or rage. 

The activity:

You will each be secretly assigned an emotion. You must search the web to find at least ONE image of an object or thing that represents your emotion. Essentially, you are creating a symbol for your emotion!

Post your image(s) to the forum, but do not give away what your selected emotion is. When you are finished posting your image(s), respond to a classmate's post and try to guess their chosen emotion.
