Sedate:  keeping a quiet steady attitude or pace.

Perpendicular: a straight line at an angle of 90° to a given line, plane, or surface.

Strait-laced: having old-fashioned and unchanging morals, especially relating to sexual matters.

Tacit: understood or implied without being stated.

Cupola: a small dome, especially a small dome on a drum on top of a larger dome, adorning a roof or ceiling.

Soggily: in a way that is unpleasantly wet and soft because of having absorbed a lot of liquid.

 Forlorn: pitifully sad and abandoned or lonely.

Trudge: walk slowly and with heavy steps, typically because of exhaustion or harsh conditions.

Harmonized: add notes to (a melody) to produce harmony.

Ramshackle: badly or untidily made and likely to break or fall down easily.
