1. Members of the Provincial Legislature (MPPs): MPPs are elected to represent people in different areas of Ontario. They make and vote on laws and help solve problems for people in their area.


2. Speaker of the House (provincial - Ontario): The Speaker keeps order during meetings in Ontario's Legislature. They make sure rules are followed and that debates run smoothly. The current Speaker is Ted Arnott.


3. Premier: The Premier is the leader of Ontario's government. They are in charge of running the province and making important decisions. Doug Ford is the current Premier.


4. Cabinet Ministers: These are MPPs chosen by the Premier to be in charge of different parts of the government, like health or education. They make decisions and manage services in their areas.


5. Leader of the Official Opposition: This leader is in charge of the biggest party that is not in power. They question the government’s actions and suggest other ideas. The current Leader of the Official Opposition is Marit Stiles.


6. Shadow Cabinet: The Shadow Cabinet is made up of opposition members who watch over the work of government ministers. They challenge the government and propose different solutions.
