Members of the Provincial Legislature (MPP) are elected representatives who serve in the legislatures of Canadian provinces. They are responsible for representing the interests of their constituents, participating in debates, proposing and voting on legislation, and holding governments to account.

(2) The Speaker of the Ontario House of Representatives is responsible for maintaining order during the legislative session, ensuring that all Members observe the rules of debate, and representing the Legislature before the Crown. As of my last update, the current Speaker of Ontario's House of Representatives is Ted Arnott.

3. The Prime Minister is the head of government of a Canadian province. They are usually the leaders of the party with the most seats in the provincial assembly. As of my last update, Doug Ford was serving as Premier of Ontario.

(4) Cabinet ministers are appointed by the Prime Minister and are responsible for overseeing specific government departments or portfolios. They play a key role in making decisions about government policies and programs. In Ontario, cabinet ministers are responsible for areas such as health, education, transportation and finance.

5. The Leader of Ontario's Official Opposition is the leader of the party with the second largest number of seats in the provincial Parliament. As of my last update, the current leader of Ontario's official opposition party is Andrea Horwath, leader of the Ontario New Democratic Party (NDP).

6. The Shadow Cabinet is made up of members of the Opposition who have been assigned specific areas of responsibility to review and provide alternative policy advice to cabinet ministers in the government. This is a way for the opposition to provide oversight and hold the government to account.
