1. Rule of Law: a principle of governance in which all persons, institutions and entities, public and private.

2. Human Dignity: the unearned worth or status that all humans share equally.

3. Political Equality: everyone has the same say in how the government makes decisions.

4. Political Freedoms: freedom from oppression or coercion, the absence of disabling conditions for an individual.

5. Common Good:  any good which is rivalrous yet non-excludable.

6. Being Informed; Getting Involved: being a responsible citizen.

7. Personal Freedoms: freedom of your mind from what determines your thoughts, feelings and behaviour.

8. Respect: to recognize the worth of a person or thing.
