Glossary- Homelessness
- shelter - a structure that protects you from the elements and gives you a place to live.
- vulnerable - capable of being wounded or hurt
- homeless- If you're homeless, you don't have any place to live — you might be without a roof over your head, or even without a country to call your own.
- Misconception - A misconception is a conclusion that's wrong because it's based on faulty thinking or facts that are wrong.
- instability- Instability is the quality of not being stable, balanced, or predictable.
- insufficient- If something is insufficient, it isn't enough
- domestic violence- violence or physical abuse directed toward your spouse or domestic partner; usually violence by men against women
- vicious cycle- a problem or difficult situation that creates new problems which then cause the original problem or situation to occur again.
- isolation - completely alone
- eradicated- To eradicate something is to get rid of it, to destroy it
- substance abuse- excessive use of drugs or alcohol
