band ( First Nations)

noun- Band is a term the Canadian government uses to refer to certain First Nations communities.

constitution

noun: A constitution is a set of fundamental rules or principles that a country and government uses as a guide for doing their jobs and  protecting the rights and freedoms of its citizens


council

noun:  a group of people that gathers for the purpose of giving advice or making decisions.

dictatorship

noun: a government where one person makes all the rules and decisions without input from anyone else.

elect

verb: To elect is to choose. A group of citizens may elect the next president, or you may just elect to stay home during the blizzard.

federal

adjective: Federal refers to the national government or the government of an entire country.

noun:  the system of people, laws, and officials that define and control the country that you live in.

noun: invisible lines that separate two or more countries

noun
 the group of people who make, change or cancel laws

noun:  a town or city that has a mayor or other officials who govern it.
