Rock Band Wins Music Competition

(200 WORDS)

On December 12, a major music competition was held in the Harper University Gymnasium, with over a dozen bands taking part. In the end, the “Rockets” won the championship without a doubt - their third win in three years.

The Rockets have three band members - two instrument players and a lead singer. Their names are Boston, Alan and Daniel. Their main style of music is rock-and-roll. Asked if they thought of winning the championship today, Alan said, “We didn't think about it before the competition. We just wanted to sing the tune we had rehearsed. We worked on it for weeks, which could be the reason why we won the championship.”

In the final vote, the Rockets crushed the other bands, with the support of a large number of their supporters and fans. When asked if you wanted to go professional, the singer Boston replied, “We formed this band because we all love music, and if we can keep up the passion and work hard, it's possible we may one day turn singers into professionals.

The Rockets won a recording contract as a result of the competition and will be going on tour throughout Canada in the New Year.
