Lecture Overview
In this lesson, we will complete Act 3 and read half of Act 4. Act 4 Scene 1 is probably one of the most famous scenes in all theatrical literature.
There are magic spells and more illusions and we see how desperate Macbeth is becoming to hold onto his power. The killing and bloodshed continues. We also catch up with what’s happened to Duncan’s sons Malcolm and Donalbain, and Fleance. And get an update on a very important character who was not at the banquet – Macduff.
