2. Thinking: Use of planning and thinking of effective ways of creating literary elements in your poem. Strong use of analytical skills to examine the Tpcast elements as seen in the poem; essay shows good layout and organization of paragraphs with appropriate reference to the poem to support thinking; own interpretation and opinions are present in appropriate locations; proper identification of the Tpcast Elements in the body of your Essay
3. Communication: strong use of the writing process to convey meaning and analysis; paragraphs are well formatted with clear topic sentences, examples, details and concluding sentences all connecting back to the topic sentences; conventions are correct and effective; quotes used where necessary; clear and organized paragraphing with topic sentences and concluding sentences for each paragraph
4. Application: overall effect of your analysis and essay writing skills; strong ability to combine the writing process with poem analysis using the Tpcast method; own opinions and connections to the poem are present and supported in logical places; use of APA/MLA Citations where needed
