For this activity and in preparation for your Comparative Essay Assignment, read the 800 word student essay Hansel and Gretel: A COMPARATIVE ESSAY. The essay is located in the Unit 4 - Resource Folder.

The comparative essay is the work of a former student. Notice how the three POINTS are established in the Introductory Paragraph and how each is described - compared and contrasted - in a separate body paragraph.

Then work with a partner of your choice, ask yourselves the following questions as you study the form and structure of the Hanzel and Gretel essay:

3.  How is the supporting information presented in the body paragraphs?
